Dog Gone is the first overall episode, the series premiere, and the first segment of the first episode of CatDog from the first season.

Plot Edit

Cat and Dog are playing ball in the front yard. Cat throws the ball for Dog to fetch, but on the second throw, Dog ends up chasing a squirrel through the tree in the front yard. Cat ends up with a massive load of acorns shoved in his mouth, and the two go inside for a soda. While rummaging through the fridge, Winslow comes out of his mouse abode. Winslow points out how the two of them always work great together, then changes the subject of spending every single minute with somebody else. This observation makes Cat come to the utter realization that neither he nor Dog get enough time for themselves as individuals, which is not far from the truth. Cat finally decides to see what life would be like without Dog around, so he makes him wear a cosplay, that somewhere ensembles the hind end of a cat. Cat at first feels a sense of relief and satisfaction at finally having some alone time. However, guilt and loneliness get the best of him and he lets Dog come out. He missed Dog.
