All You Can't Eat is the second half of the first episode of CatDog from the first season. In this episode, CatDog attempts to eat at a Mexican restaurant, but Rancid Rabbit prevents them from doing so.

Characters Present[]

Summary[]

CatDog want to eat some lunch at a taco restaurant, but the manager Rancid Rabbit bans them from entering because of his aversion towards them. They try sneaking in numerous ways, but are caught every time. Eventually, Dunglap takes control of Taco Depot after the restaurant's owner Mr. Depot fires Rancid, and lets Cat and Dog eat there whenever they want. CatDog is now welcome anytime.

Recap[]

One day at Taco Depot, the manager, Rancid Rabbit, is training his new employee, CatDog's friend Dunglap. Rancid says that there are three important rules to follow: whoever wears the taco shell is in charge, keep the place clean, and don't let CatDog in.

Meanwhile. Cat and Dog arrive outside of the restaurant. Dog is very hungry, but sees the "No CatDog" sign outside. Cat explains that the pair of them are banned after Dog literally tried to eat all the food there, leaving none for everybody else. Dog notices Dunglap working the counter, and suggests they wear masks to go in and get tacos. Now disguised as "DogCat," they walk inside and order the all you can eat special. Dunglap waits for Rancid to get distracted by a pretty lady, then gives them the go-ahead. Dog tries deciding what to eat first, but Rancid stops them and tosses them out. Cat is angry since Dog paid for his food, but didn't get anything. He declares that Dog will get what he paid for, even if he has to eat a taco himself.

They use several different disguises and other wacky attempts to get in, but it seems like nothing seems to work. While disguised as a cowboy, Cat even pays more money so Rancid will leave them alone. But, Rancid sees through their disguise, and kicks them out before they can eat again. Cat eventually disguises them as a lady and flirts with Rancid at the drive through, while Dog drags himself through the back door of the restaurant. Rancid finally notices Dog stretching his body through the building and sends CatDog flying into the salad bar. Rancid mocks them, and he and the patrons laugh. Dog is ready to give up, but Cat refuses, saying that since they both paid for tacos, they will get the tacos.

CatDog breaks into the restaurant through the ceiling ducts. They travel under the floor, in the walls, and pop out of a light fixture. But, Rancid sees them, and turns on the light. The electrical surge sends them rocketing out of the lamp, knocking into the patrons, and eventually making them land in the taco bar. Dog starts stuffing his face, getting food everywhere. Rancid yells at them to stop, but is interrupted by a man's voice. It's Mr. Taco Depot himself, doing one of his random restaurant inspections. He yells about the mess and fires Rancid, taking his manager's pin. He gives the pin to Dunglap and promotes him.

Dunglap is happy about getting promoted during his first shift. He says that Cat and Dog can come and go as they please. Dog tells the news to Cat, who says he is stuffed.

Trivia[]

  • The Greaser Dogs make a cameo in this episode where Lube now has his official design for the rest of the series. However, Cliff doesn't even acknowledge Cat and Dog when they enter the restaurant (probably to avoid drawing too much attention to them since he and the other Greasers are in a crowded location).
  • This episode marks Rancid Rabbit and Dunglap's first debut in the show.
  • The episode was meant to teach the lesson that the right to refuse service to a customer should not be abused - in this case, Cat and Dog were both refused service by Rancid Rabbit because of the fact that he doesn't like them very much (and that Dog unfairly ate all the food in the buffet). Cat even vehemently points this out, stating that it's "flat-out un-American" for them to be refused service even though they paid for their food.
  • This episode's title is a play on the phrase "all you can eat". It is also referenced by Cat at the beginning of the episode when he tells Dog that it does not literally mean to consume everything, which implies that the latter did that some time ago, getting them banned as a result as comfirmed by the former.
  • Taco Depot seems to be a parody on Taco Bell. The name could also be similar to The Home Depot.
  • The "No Shirt, No Shoes, No CatDog" sign is a parody on the phrase "No shirt, no shoes, no service".
  • This episode re-aired on November 22, 2007.
  • A flash game was made based on this episode also called All You Can't Eat.
